Steps on Downloading and Burn Videos to DVD on Mac with Toast Titanium. Download Toast Titanium for Mac here and install it on your Mac. Once you launch Roxio Toast Titanium 17 for Mac on your computer, you will be directed to the below interface. On the bottom, click on the DVD option that will be visible near the red button. Toast encoded 5 minutes of video in about 14 minutes on a dual-867MHz Power Mac G4 at high quality. (The program gives only high or standard video-quality options, with no indication of bit rates. On a i5 CPU box running a 32bit XP, it took 28 seconds to extract the.toast from the '.sit', using the commandline 'unar.exe' (The Unarchiver) to extract the image. On a G4 1GHz eMac with standard IDE drive, it took 3 minutes 17 secs to complete the extraction.

I started having problems with my entire computer's hard drive, and all of a sudden when I tried to burn a CD of my son's Wedding pics, I got this message:

'Toast cannot write the data in Mac OS Standard format. Please switch to Mac OS Extended.'

I have NO idea what they are talking about. I was all over my computer, and still don't see anything I could do to switch this as they request. I thought maybe it was because my hard drive was crashing & I had no more memory left. I also tried to burn other things in case it was the pics that it didn't like, and still got the same message, so I can't burn anything..except my husband's food! LOL

Update to newest mac os. I just picked up my NEW computer yesterday, and tried again with the same error message. This new one is an Imac 2.0/1gb/250gb/sd/20 (that's what's on the receipt )

I'm 'kind of' OK on doing things on the computer, but I'm not a professional by any means, so please..IF you have an answer for me (and I'm really hoping somebody DOES!!) , I'm only in '2nd Grade' so I need to use easy terms. I'm NOT smarter than a 5th Grader!!!
